This beautifully presented two-bedroom maisonette puts you right in the heart of Walthamstow life. Set across the first and second floors, it gives you a roomy 1206 sq ft of well-designed space, with French doors from the kitchen leading straight onto your own balcony. Living here means plenty of choice: wander over to Lloyd Park, see cutting-edge shows at Soho Theatre, try out that brunch spot everyone’s talking about, or find a new favourite local just around the corner. And when you need to get further afield, Walthamstow Central is only a 12-minute walk away.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

Before you even step inside, this Victorian home sets the tone with a terracotta-and-cream tiled path winding past jasmine and roses, a welcoming touch that makes arriving home a pleasure.

The reception room is generous and full of natural light, with sunshine spilling through a wide box bay and additional side window. Wooden floors run underfoot, while crisp white alcove shelving and floating modern cabinets sit against calm pewter-blue walls. A simple, modern sandstone mantelpiece pulls the room together without competing for attention, leaving you free to make the space your own.

The first bedroom is bold yet soothing, with deep peacock-blue walls and the same warm wooden flooring. A white niche set into the chimney breast is ready for your current reads or a favourite display object.

The bathroom is cleverly designed, making every inch count. Custom wooden cabinetry keeps things tidy, mink-toned tiles bring warmth, and you’ll find both a bath and a walk-in shower—whether you’re in the mood for a quick refresh or a long soak.

In the kitchen, blue-grey units, brass fittings and wooden worktops strike the right balance of style and practicality. Integrated appliances and a built-in breakfast bench keep the space really functional, while blush-toned variegated tiling adds a playful flourish. Throw open the French doors and step onto your private east-facing balcony - the perfect spot for coffee in the morning sun.

Upstairs, the converted loft is a real highlight. A wall of Midnight-blue cabinetry provides plenty of storage, eaves cupboards hide away the rest, and exposed beams add character. A Velux window and adjustable lighting keep the mood just how you want it.

With its thoughtful modern updates, period detail, and unexpected design flourishes, this is a home that feels practical, distinctive, and instantly welcoming. Move straight in and explore the neighbourhood.

- After a big refurbishment, Soho Theatre Walthamstow launches in May with much anticipation.
- Walthamstow High Street is within easy reach, and you’ll find amazing restaurants, tons of history and some of the best pubs in East London to help convince you, too.

a word from the owners...

"We loved our time in walthamstow. It's a bustling neighborhood with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops and has fantastic connections in and out of London. The flat was perfect for us as a young couple, with spacious rooms, character and high ceilings."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Erskine Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
