a word from the owners...

"We’ve absolutely loved living here, It’s incredibly rare to find a home in Walthamstow with side access and end of terrace—no dragging bins, bikes, or muddy boots through the house! The south-facing garden has been a dream which we kept low maintenance and easy. We have re done every bit of the house from the ground floor extension, new boiler and most recently the loft. One of our favourite things about living here has been Lloyd Park—an absolute godsend with young kids. There’s always something happening, from markets to community events, festivals, and we love popping out to the Saturday market for fresh bread and a coffee (there’s so many local coffee options from, Wynwood, Yellow Warbbler and Deeneys). Being so close to the Feel Good Centre is a huge bonus too—regular swimming trips, gym sessions, and even a super-hot sauna (personal favourite!). The location is ideal for local primary schools, and when we get a rare evening out, The Bell does a great pint (plus football!), while the Dog & Duck is perfect in the summer with its beer garden. The road has a great sense of community—there’s a WhatsApp group, and we’ve had some nice street parties over the years. We’ll be sad to leave, but we know the next owners will love it just as much as we have!"

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Bedford Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
